Myrtle Sproule (Vice-Chair and Non-Parent Director) – is a non-parent board member who is a strong advocate for gifted education and has a passion for Westmount. Myrtle has two children who attended and graduated from Westmount. She is a strong supporter of the inside-out philosophy to support all learners. Prior to commencing her term as a non-parent director, Myrtle served as President of the Westmount Charter School Parent Fundraising Society and Treasurer of Westmount Charter School Council. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University. Myrtle is now retired but worked as a Finance professional with over 35 years in accounting and corporate finance roles in municipal government, utility, and banking.
