Elementary Attendance Line
Notes
December 9, 2022: We have been asked by AHS to specify which symptoms our elementary (EC) students are experiencing when parents/guardians report their absences due illness. To help us track our illnesses, we are asking when you notify the school, that you please specify symptoms as respiratory and/or gastro-intestinal. These symptoms include one or more of the following:
- Cough
- Shortness of Breath
- Sore throat
- Loss of altered sense of smell
- Runny nose or nasal congestion
- Fever
- Fatigue (significant and unusual)
- Muscle ache/joint pain
- Headache
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
When you call or email the Elementary Campus to report a student’s absence, please indicate whether or not your child is experiencing one or more of the symptoms listed above.
To advise that your child is going to be late or absent, please call 403 217 0426 and choose option 1. **Alternatively, you may email attendance-elem@westmountcharter.com
Provide your child’s:
- Your child’s first name and last name (include the spelling of the last name)
- the date of the absence or late
- grade
- The name of your child’s homeroom teacher and
- reason for absence or late. (See new notes above for how to report illness)
Mid-High Attendance Line
Notes
The voicemail for the Mid-High attendance line has been repaired. We are in the process of implementing a new phone system but in the meantime the voicemail option for the attendance line appears to be working. Please contact the school to report attendance either by emailing attendance-mh@westmountcharter.com, or by calling the attendance line at 403.217.9427 press 1 to leave a message in mailbox 2000 or press 0 to speak with a staff member during office hours and the absence information will be updated. You may also dial 0 if you have any issues leaving a voicemail message.
Provide your child’s:
- name (please spell your child’s last name)
- grade
- the date
- reason for absence or late.
