Astro Pi Mission Zero Coding Challenge

Working in small groups, interested grade four students will send code to an Astro Pi computer on board the International Space Station with a personalized image for the astronauts to see! Each team member will receive a certificate record of the exact time and location that their program ran in space.  For more information on this mission click here.

EC Hour of Code

Elementary Learning Commons 728 32 Street NW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

During Canada Learning Code week (December 5-9), all students K-4 will have an opportunity to participate in the HOUR OF CODE initiative hosted by the Learning Commons. Grade 1-4 students will work through a 1-hour coding challenge. Kindergarten students will have a 30 minute coding block to further develop the skills that have been introduced during regular Learning Commons classes.
