Grade 10 student who is passionate and a “changemaker” in the environmental field will be presenting on single-use plastics.

Students will explore Inuit culture through discussions about food, clothing, shelter, animals, beliefs and values. Using authentic Inuit artifacts, students will investigate and come to conclusions about what these objects are, how they were made and how they were used.

Aerosols, Clouds and Climate! Virtual Field Trip. Students will learn about both natural (ash, sea spray, dust) and human (pollution) sources of aerosols and why understanding aerosols is important to our climate and our health. They will see a cloud in a bottle demonstration, an incomplete combustion demo and make their own particle collector.

Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants Grade 4H SEAL will be meeting live with National Geographic Explorer Shah Selbe who is a Conservation Technologist. He will show us his lab and various projects that he is working on.
Liquids and solids are everywhere! Explore household solids and liquids and how they interact with each other. Investigate the properties so solubility, absorption and buoyancy. Then engineer the solution to a common problem. Create an unusual concoction from an everyday solid and watch it dance!
