While your gifted child will naturally lean toward certain subjects, it is also important to expose them to new activities outside of the classroom, such as clubs and extracurricular activities, which can help them stay well-rounded. Clubs and extracurricular activities have proven to foster not only your gifted learner’s intellectual growth and development but also their social and emotional wellness.
At Westmount, we typically have a wide variety of clubs and extracurricular activities your child can be a part of to support their needs from the inside out.
Due to COVID-19, all Westmount Charter School’s extra-curricular athletics are cancelled until further notice. Extra-curricular fine arts performances may be offered virtually. We have organized some virtual clubs for grade 5-12 students. Please visit the Grade 5-8 or 9-12 SWAT page in PowerLearn to view the list of clubs. (Clubs will take place during designated lunchtimes ONLINE. Students will remain in their classrooms and participate virtually. Headphones are required.)
