Valedictorian selection process:

  • All grade 12 students are invited to submit an application for valedictorian.
  • Applications will be made available November 20, 2018.
  • Completed applications must be submitted to Brandie Sedore by 4 p.m. December 4, 2017.

Selection committee is comprised of at least one principal, up to two teachers and up to two other TLA or office staff members in order to create an un-biased panel.

  • Applications will be reviewed and a short list of applicants will be announced: December 5, 2018.
  • The selected applicants will write and present a speech to the selection committee on a given topic from December 14 – 19, 2018.
  • The selection committee will choose the valedictorian on or before December 20, 2018.
