Applications for the 2024 – 2025 school year are now open

2024-2025 applications will be submitted via PowerSchool Enrollment; the SchoolEngage program has been retired. Please review this page carefully for instructions.

Before you begin your application, please ensure that you have reviewed the Mid-High Admissions web page.
Review the information in all three boxes below before you begin the application process.
Please use the following APPLICATION CHECKLIST as a guide to help you prepare to complete our new, online application form.

The Westmount Mid-High Campus will accept Grade 5-12 online applications from 9:00 am Friday, September 15, 2023 until 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

USE THIS CHECKLIST TO HELP YOU PREPARE

Ensure that you have at least an hour to complete the online application. We recommend using the latest version of these browsers for the Application: Modern Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari.

The online application requires digital copies (PDF – view instructions) of official documents. The documents will be used for the evaluation of the application. Please do not password protect the documents you upload as we will not be able to open them.

**Applications are considered incomplete if all supporting documentation is not submitted with the application

Supporting documents include the following:

Supporting Documentation in digital format Have digital copies of the documents below available when you begin your online application. Make sure you include BOTH sides of your documentation where there is information on the back – this is especially important for Government documents. The application cannot be submitted if any of your supporting documents are missing and you will have to exit the application.
- Psychological Assessment *Required
- Birth Certificate (both sides) *Required
- Immigration Documentation (If applicable; ideally in the form of a Permanent Residency Card, but may also include a Work Visa, Student Visa, Permanent Landed Immigrant papers or a Canadian Citizenship card. A Canadian Passport is ideal if available).
- Copy of student’s current grades or June of previous year *Required
- “WHY WESTMOUNT” for your child – *Required – See Checklist for details
- Social/behavioural assessment summary document (If any)
- An IPP associated with intensive behavioural intervention funding, primary unit funding (PUF), or severe disabilities funding (if any).

2. Apply Using PowerSchool Enrollment

When applying to Westmount

- New to Westmount families must create a new PowerSchool Enrollment account to apply.
- If you applied to Westmount last year but your student is not currently attending, you should click the Create PowerSchool Enrollment Account And Apply button in box 3 and create a new PowerSchool Enrollment account to start a new application for your student.

The issue with sibling applications has been resolved. if you are applying for the sibling of a current WCS student, please log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and select Application > Add Student and then complete and submit your application form.

3. Complete and Submit the Online Application

Once you have logged into your new PowerSchool Enrollment account, you will add your student and then open and complete the online application, uploading your scanned files as required.

You will receive an email when your application is successfully submitted. No emails or phone calls to confirm that we’ve received your application, please.

***Note: If you have previously applied to Westmount but you do not currently have children attending our school, click the button below and Create a new PowerSchool Enrollment account.

Completed applications will be accepted September 15, 2023 at 9:00 am to January 31, 2024 at 4:00 pm.
