Westmount implemented a new communcations tool called SchoolMessenger, in the spring of 2022. If you haven’t yet set up your SchoolMessenger account and tried out the free App, here are the instructions to help you get started. **You must use the contact email you provided to Westmount as your userid when you set up your SchoolMessenger account.
For parent/guardians who do not have a smart phone or prefer to use a web version of the app, simply go to (https://go.schoolmessenger.com) and click on Signup on the top right corner. Parents may choose to use both of these tools as well. Once the signup process is done, the login id and password will be the same for the mobile app and for the web app. **When signing up, please use the contact email you provided Westmount, as the system uses this to connect to your student.
If you wish to opt in to receive SMS/text informational messages from Westmount:
Text Y or Yes to 978338 from your mobile phone. (If you are choosing use a different mobile number than the one we have on file in PowerSchool, please contact communications so that we can confirm the number is in our PowerSchool database).
You’ll know you were successful if you receive the following reply message:
- You are registered 4 SchoolMessenger. Txt STOP to quit, HELP 4 info. Msg&datarates may apply. Msg freq varies.
If you feel you are not receiving communications from Westmount, please check your SPAM/Junk folder prior to contacting us. You may need to add email@example.com to your safe-senders list in your email program.
