Dear Westmount Staff and Community,
At a Special Meeting of the Charter Board last evening, a motion was passed to suspend Policy 14 Risk Mitigation and the accompanying Administrative Procedure 491 Risk Mitigation effective immediately.
Effective immediately, for employees who are participating in the rapid testing program, proof of a negative rapid antigen test will no longer be required to access Westmount facilities. Similarly, proof of vaccination will no longer be required for employees and volunteers to access Westmount facilities.
Vaccination requirements for vendors, suppliers or other contracted individuals carrying out duties on Westmount property are suspended immediately.
This action was taken following the provincial government’s move to Step 2 of lifting heath measures prior to spring break. Everyone is encouraged to maintain vigilance to the ongoing presence of the COVID-19 virus and to exercise appropriate precautions and good preventative protocols such as hand hygiene, daily health checks, masking and opportunities for vaccination.
Thank you for your support.
Stay well.
Joe Frank
Superintendent
