These are stressful and anxious times for everyone; we may not even see the signs that our kids are carrying more than they let on, particularly with gifted children. We can all use more tools in our toolkits to support our whole family’s mental health. Learn how to identify anxiety and trauma in our kids, and learn practical tips we can use to support them and model mental health practices.
We’ll also learn about the strategies school staff are using, and how we can best support this work at home. We’ll welcome occupational therapist and Westmount parent, Jill Foreman, who specializes in anxiety and coping strategies in her practice, and the school administration. This two-part session will provide plenty of time for questions and discussion. We encourage you to join us for both!
