WestJet Raffle Coordinator:

This volunteer will coordinate the WestJet raffle process that happens annually in the Spring at Westmount.   We are looking for a volunteer to take this project on immediately and the time commitment will continue until May.

Bottle Drive Volunteers:

We have two more bottle drives at Westmount this year and we are asking families to bring in their refundables on Thursday, April 16 and Thursday, June 4.

We need a couple of volunteers at each campus in the morning and afternoons each day to help with collecting the refundables. Volunteer shifts are 8:15 to 8:45am and 3:15 to 3:45pm on April 16 and June 4.

Stampeder Parking Coordinator for the 2020 season:

We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate volunteers for the parking at our Mid-High campus during Calgary Stampeders home games between the end of May and November.

Stampeder Parking Event-Day Volunteers for the 2020 season:

We need Stampeder game day volunteers to help with parking at our Mid-High parking lot. These volunteers help with setting up the parking lot, collecting money for parking, directing cars to park and cleaning up after the parking.  The time commitment is 2-3 hours on game day.

If you would like to volunteer for any of the volunteer jobs outlined above or just ask a question about volunteering, please contact Kim Anthony at (403) 816-1953 or via email at kim.anthony@telus.net.

We greatly appreciate your interest in volunteering to make sure that we can provide the best school experience to our children!

Making a Donation to Westmount Charter School is another way to support our school

If you would like to support Westmount Charter School by making a donation, we would be very grateful.  You can donate by writing a cheque to Westmount Charter School Council, or by donating online by clicking on this link:

We know that we are in tough economic times so we completely understand that not everyone can make a monetary donation, but for those who are able to, your donation will help to provide some of the following opportunities:

  • Fieldtrips for grades K-12, for example: Kamp Kiwanis, Calgary Zoo, swimming, river walks, and more…;
  • In-classroom support for our teachers;
  • Student awards;
  • Enriched parent education and engagement through special presentations and coffee talks;
  • Staff appreciation;
  • School events such as Mardi Gras.
