All students who did not receive a first round offer or who applied after December 1 are currently being evaluated for admission. Find out how UBC makes admissions decisions and when students can expect their admissions decision.

On-campus housing application deadline

UBC guarantees on-campus housing for the Winter Session (September to April) for high school students who are beginning studies on either campus. The application deadline for students to secure their first-year housing guarantee is May 1. Learn more about the first-year housing guarantee on our Okanagan and Vancouver campuses.

Students must apply for housing on the campus or campuses where they have applied to study. Only one housing application fee is required. More information is available on the “How To Apply” pages for our Okanagan and Vancouver campuses.

The Student Housing Supplement Grant provides financial support for eligible first-year undergraduate domestic students who will be living on campus with Student Housing and Hospitality Services. First-year students who apply for residence will be automatically considered. Please see the Student Housing Supplement Grant page for information about eligibility
