Throughout the month of March, Student Services and Administration will be meeting with students currently in grade 6 through 11 to discuss course selection for the 2018-2019 school year. Course selection for students will open Monday, March 19th and close Friday, March 23rd. In order to complete course selection, students will need to have their PowerSchool login and password, which can be obtained from their SOURCE teacher.
In addition to course selection presentations, students going into grades 9 – 12 may receive additional high school planning counselling and post-secondary counselling through Student Services. Individual appointments can be made throughout the month of March, coordinated through Joanne Reynolds in the Student Services Centre. As well, students are encouraged to drop-in during any lunch hour any day of the week, between March 5th and 16th.

*Course selection is an important process for mid-high, as we make decisions on what to offer based on demand. If demand for a course is high based on course selection, we do our best to accommodate. Alternatively, if demand is low, we reduce classes. Thus, while advertised in the course selection process, courses will be offered only if
- Important transition information for 8 to 9, as well as 9 into 10.
- For current grade 9 – 11’s, counsellors will work with students to highlight graduation requirements and potential post-secondary requirements.
