CAREERS at Westmount Charter School

LUNCH SUPERVISOR
Part-time, two hours (paid for three) at lunch time on weekdays.  
Duties include:
-Supervision of elementary-grade students during their lunch time;
-Playground supervision;
-Maintaining a positive, caring and safe environment by encouraging appropriate behaviour of the students;
-Cleaning tables, assisting in the school as required.
Knowledge, Skills and attributes:
-Ability to work effectively as a team member in cooperation with other school personnel and students. 
-Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with children. 
-Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions with active children.
-Flexibility to undertake a variety of assignments. 

HALL MONITOR
Westmount Charter School is accepting applications for a Hall Monitor's position. Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, initiative in addressing facility needs, and physical fitness (including the ability to do some heavy lifting) are definite assets for this position. A valid Police Records Check will be required.

TO APPLY: A Police Records Check will be required of all successful applicants for the Lunch Supervisor and Hall Monitor positions. These positions are needed for the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year, so we anticipate doing our interviews in late August.
