This evening was for parents of children going into grades 1-5; (Kindergarten registration was not part of this evening, but was addressed separately on April 15, 2010 at 7:00 PM). Application packages for 2010-2011 became available for download from this website, beginning at 9:00 PM on the evening of the Parent Information Night. For the 2010-2011 school year, we will have four classes to fill for grade one. For grades two through five we have very limited space, since the vast majority of our students remain at Westmount from year to year. We follow Alberta Education's "Class Size Initiative" guidelines. |

TO APPLY FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR, follow these five steps:
Step 1: Come to the information evening
Parents are invited to an open house on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 7:00- 8:30 pm. At this time, the Westmount program will be explained, teachers will be available to answer grade-specific questions, and classrooms will be available for viewing. Child care is not available on-site for this evening event and children do find the evening quite long, so we ask that you make your own child care arrangements.
There are several hundred adults attending this open house each year. If you are interested in applying for Westmount, please make a point of attending this meeting; it is not possible for us to conduct individual information sessions and/or tours, given the volume of applicants.
Application packages will be available ONLINE ONLY from this site beginning February 3, 2010 at 9:00 PM.
If the form does not download immediately, click on F5 or refresh your web browser to ensure that you are working from the most recent version of the web page. Applications will be accepted electronically (scanned email or fax) or in person, beginning 9:00 AM February 4, 2010.

Please note: families that are applying to join us in the coming school year need to notify us of any changes/additions to their child’s personal information. Examples may be: address, home/work phone numbers, e-mail addresses, custody issues, emergency contacts, medical conditions, allergies, and any psychological or educational reports.
